Two-piece Clamping Collars are designed to handle applications that require greater axial load capacity than Set Screw and One-Piece Clamping Collars without marring the shaft. Recessed screw styles of Two-Piece Clamping Collars are available to provide safety with an outside surface free of major projections. Two-Piece Clamping Collars can also be manufactured with a keyway for keyed shafts. Double-Wide Two-Piece Clamping Collars can be used for high axial load applications and they are also ideal for areas that are too constrained for a full-size Rigid Coupling.
Set Screw Collars are the most cost effective shaft collar design. Lightweight styles are available where an application has a space constraint. If additional load capacity is required, Climax provides Set Screw Collars with a second screw at 90°. Set Screw Collars are also available with a keyway for keyed shafts.
Threaded Clamping Collars provide a greater amount of axial holding capacity on threaded shafts. The design fully engages the thread for secure locking. Recessed screw styles of Threaded Clamping Collars are available to provide safety with an outside surface free of major projections.
